Patient was concerned about experiencing significant wear on the front teeth. This was the main reason for seeking orthodontic treatment. Patient had a lower jaw asymmetry and had already undergone jaw surgery α few years before she presented to our clinic. This partly resolved the asymmetry and disproportions between the upper and lower jaws. Patient also presented with short and worn-down the upper and lower front and back teeth as well as reduced incisor show at rest and on smiling. Τhe main focus of the orthodontic treatment was to create space/clearance between the upper and lower teeth and improve the bite for the provision of restorations to restore the teeth to their original dimensions. The orthodontic treatment moved the upper front teeth forwards and moved the lower front teeth backwards. This improved bite as well as created the space required to restore the teeth. In this case, patient decided on undergoing treatment with lingual appliances as she was keen on the most discreet option possible. The composite restorations were done a few weeks after the tooth-whitening was completed.
