Patient was concerned about the protruding appearance of her lips and teeth and complained that her upper and lower front teeth were leaning too far forwards. Due to the crowding and the afore-mentioned protrusion, she was unable to bring her lips together. Four second premolar teeth were removed with a view to creating the space needed to pull the front teeth and lips backwards. The orthodontic treatment improved her smile and made the changes to her facial profile the patient was interested in.
