Patient presented with set-back lower jaw and the upper front teeth were forwards inclined, to such an extent that they were outside of the control of the lower lip even at rest/when the patient was not smiling or speaking. This rendered patient at increased risk of sustaining an accident or trauma to the upper front teeth. On initial presentation, patient had fractured the edges of upper front teeth and sustained another accident which resulted in further fracture of the edges very soon after we commenced the treatment. The treatment improved his facial profile and allowed the upper teeth to be within the control of the lips, improving not just the appearance but also reducing the likelihood of future dental trauma.
